Fellow GMC'ers,
We had a wonderful 14 day trip to, and from Patterson, Louisiana.
It was our third GMC rally and 3rd year of being a GMC owner.
It was so much fun for us to attend.
Got to see friends from our previous two years, and made some new friends as well.
Our trip to the rally was full of problems, and solutions.
Gas line from the extra port on the fuel pump cracked and was spraying gas everywhere.
Luckily there was no spark, to light it on fire.
And I was able to get some gas line and repair it on the road.
Somehow got a nail in one tire and a screw in another several days apart.
Funny, I don't remember driving through a construction site :0)
And then 100 miles from home one of my rear tires decided to go into an oval shape instead of round. Belt starting to separate. It is only 2 years old and all bought new from discount tire. So, I was very surprised about that happening.
But it all worked out fine, and we are getting ready to go on another trip in two weeks.
We are happiest when we are on the road in our GMC.
So, A big thanks to all of you on the blacklist (as I am too) never going to know when to make a call for advise.
I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone we have met that have helped us along with our GMC.
It is always comforting to know that, fellow GMC owners are always there to help, even if it is just a phone call with sensible advise.
It truly is the best part about the coach...all the caring people (many friends) that come along when they are needed.
The Mrs. & I are having the time of our lives.
I took about a thousand photos from Patterson and would like to share them with anyone that may be interested in viewing some of the stuff that went on for several days.
