As many of you know, I have limited success with Hazard Fright. This is one time I might not jump all over their case.
I just shared some wonderful under the hatch bonding time, and this light was about the right thing. I have this, sort of new, and old (the get broken) fluorescent reel light and a short LED by Stanly. (The original HF short LED got obliterated one day when I was working in the coaches engine room and every time I tried to roll the light to illuminate where I was working, it would turn itself off.) This light doesn't do that and it is long enough to span the hatch and still be lighting where you need it to be. At ~30$ it is not a bad deal in my opinion. Either think of it when it is on sale or get a 20% coupon.

I'm guessing this is the light Matt is talking about. I bought one right before the sale, was $34 then.

Very nice setup, hook on one end to hang it, wall plug and 12v plug to charge it. And plenty bright!

Steve,

I believe Matt is referring to this light:

http://www.harborfreight.com/120-led-rechargeable-under-hood-work-light-60793.html

I bought one and used it last summer and now have two in the crate that is heading for Sydney shortly.

Here's a bonus!

As you can see in the HF photos it has hooks on each end which can be hooked to the underside of the hood "T" locks. What the photo
does not show is that the ends unscrew releasing a piece of "rope" about 6 inches long which allow you even more flexibility to hang
it up.

If you go to the HF website you can print out a 25% discount coupon.

The light has two settings for brightness. Unfortunatley I have NOT timed how long it will run on either setting nor have I timed
how long it takes to recharge it.

Regards,
Rob M.
