Hello all,

I started a new topic as the discussion of awnings has taken over my old
topic of removing the roof pod, etc.

I am interested in an armless awning design similar to the Omnistor awning
that Ken H and others have on their GMCs. Per Ken, that particular awning
was imported from Belgium by Carefree of Colorado in cooperation with
Richard G. Floyd. I believe that was in the 2006-2007 time frame.

I am now in contact with CofC and Fiamma, who have armless awnings that are
similar to the Omnistor. So that I can be better prepared when speaking
about these things, I would like to ask owners of the Omnistor for some
additional info.

1. I presume that there were two lengths of the Omnistor offered for
the 23' and 26' GMC? Or did one size fit all?
2. What is the overall length of the awning, and the length of the
awning fabric?
3. What is the maximum extended opening or "protrusion" from the coach?
4. How is the unit mounted to the roof?
5. Are the mounting locations on the awning housing fixed locations or
?

I'm sure I'll come up with more questions in the future. Zip Dee's $5,000
awning looks nice but is out of my price range which has prompted my current
search for an alternative.

Thank you,

Guy Lopes
