My 1975 PB has a leak when filling up. The PO dropped the tanks and refurbished them plus all new gas lines in 2011.
When filling up, gasoline forms a puddle on the pavement about under the drivers seat.
No, I am not over-filling, this puddle starts way before the nozzle shuts off. This leaves a strong smell in the coach, wastes $, the environment suffers and my safety is a concern.
Any ideas?

If you remove the drivers side inner fender you will see where the hoses that are probably leaking are. It will look like this

and like this from the bottom looking up

Not my pics they are Carl's. Those hoses get cooked by the heat of the exhaust pipe, mine were.

take out the fender liner, look up on the firewall at the fuel vent line
where it connects to the fill line. Tighten up the hose at that joint.

The fuel fill pipes and vent system also use rubber connectors. Just like the gas lines these can deteriorate. There are also vent system rubber connections hidden behind the wheel well liner. As noted by others, check that the clamps are tight.
