One easy way to do this, Larry, is to use the puzzle style anti-fatigue mats from places like HF. They cut and bend easily and hold their shape well in the wind. Wire ties do a good job of keeping them where you want them. Both the 78 Royale and the 77 Clasco have them. So far I am only baffling the upper part of the radiator, not the lower part and have no-scoop at the bottom of the radiator like others have done. I run without the fender liners to allow the hot air to escape off the top of the engine. That made a lot of difference and I have never had a splash issue or a dirty engine even though we have driven through some mighty big rain storms at times.
On the Royale I have a fan assisted thermostatically controlled external trans oil cooler mounted to the passenger side of the radiator with baffles to direct air from the edge of the grill to the channel where that cooler is located. It is mounted at an angle so only some of the air is forced through that cooler so it does not over cool the trans oil. I had to stop using the in-radiator trans cooler when the reverse flair fitting inside the cooler broke allowing trans fluid to escape and spray back on the mufflers. Same set up on the Clasco except the cooler is for engine oil which also passes through the alum radiator cooler. That cooler is blocked off completely during the winter and only functions during the hot part of the summer. There is a passive trans oil cooler mounted on the lower drivers side of the radiator that is also in line with the alum radiator trans oil cooler.
