Ok I said my memory was fading. The 72 buick heads were used on my 74 roadmonster vista wagon project. It was a 455 not a 403. Cool project with see through distributer cap ,headers K&N etc. the 78 Royale heads were just reworked with larger valves, springs , new cam and lifters. But it did get 11 average and on long low country trips I saw as high as 12 over a 1200 mile trip. Saw biggest change when I took off the brand new Rochester with all the mods and installed the holly fuel injection. Sorry for my confused mind but it was 25 years ago.
