The Beast II with dash lights that work and labels you can see!
The ignition switch (the one that actually controls electricity) is on the column about ankle high when you foot is on the gas. When you turn the key a phony little gear rack is moved up and down and pulls the switch into its various positions. I know this guy because that potmetal gear broke in my coach. I now have a 22 rifle cleaning rod next to the column. Pull it and it starts. Push it in and it stops. I made an effort with a friend to replace the little rack gear and then thought, what do I care. Even GMC guys can't start my coach without a hint. My steering still lock with the key.
There is another half moon shaped switch below that I believe locks the starter out unless it is in park or neutral.
