I had my rad rebuilt several years ago and its slightly longer than OEM. Therefore where the rad sits in the rubber mounts is not quite right, rad rubs on the metal brackets. So before I spring another leak, I'k like to move the little brackets that hold the rubber rad mounts.
Anyone have some suggestions on doing this?
-Are they spot welded or?
-Should I remove the rad bracket completely to do this?
-cold chisel or grinder?
-drill out the spot welds...?
Any input is appreciated.
thanks
