You are correct and I sure that is a 24 volt col relay.
Also it shows up here as being $42.00 That is a bit steep for my liking.

Bruce,
I'm electrically challenged so it's highly likely that I AM WRONG, not you!
I've found the BWD website and I'll see if I can find a relay like the one I found that runs on 12 VDC.

Rob,
The voltage is likely for the coil, not the contacts.
Also the current rating of the relay does not change with voltage. It will be 30 amps at either 24 or 12 volts going though the
coil. And actually on DC contact voltage you should de-rate the contact current as high voltages can sustain an arc when the
contacts open.
I'm not an Engineer so correct me if I'm incorrect.

I had a block of those with sockets in my garage for years. I must have thrown out 15 of them during my last clean up this fall. What exactly do you want to do? I can dig around in my junk box and see if I have any left in my basement. Does it need to have a socket? Does it need a mounting tab? Are 30 amp contacts heavy enough? I have a whole bunch of miniature ones taken out of GM cars that are good for 30 amps. They do not have sockets or mounting tabs because they came out of fuse panels in the junk yard.

I find DigiKey a great supplier for electronics. Prices are good, and mostly in-stock and shipping to Canada is fast and cheap.
I don't know how they do it since they are in Theft Falls ND, I can order up 8pm central time (9pm my time) and have it to my office by 9am the next morning and only charge $8.00 bucks shipping with all the duty and customs included. Well that was when they used Purolator Courier, lately they changed to Fedex which means next day arrives about the time we are closing for the day.. or maybe end of next day.
Here is a table of automotive cube relays at Digi-Key:
http://tinyurl.com/k23cocd
Here is one rated at 70Amps 12Vdc for $7.03 and shows stock of about 1,000. The relay is fully sealed but its terminals are not.

I have not had any issues running exposed terminal relays on the ground plate under the hood. Sure they can get wet, but they soon dry out and I don't drive in it the winter with exposure to salt. Plus I can easily get my voltmeter on the terminals for troubleshooting.

reguarding wet conditions and the common Bosch type 30A relay, always mount the terminals down. Otherwise the relay case will suck water and fail the relay. Ask my neighbor how he knows this. <grin> A good anticorrosion electrical compound will prevent corrosion on the terminals and connectors of these relays.

I wired my shiny new ViAir in through a relay I found at O'Rielly's in a blister pak. Rated 30 amps, NO, blade connectors, and a mounting tab on top. It was substantially less than ten bux, I believe with discount just under five. So far (3k miles) it has worked flawlessly. I tossed the package, don't have the part number. I suspect you'd find it or its clone on the electrics aisle in AutoZone and Advance as well.

May I suggest wiring the air compressor and vacuum pump in this manner. Using Relays, breakers, and appropriate sized wires. This way power to these devices will not go through the ignition switch. (Yet are controlled by the ignition switch ) The breakers protect the wires and system. The Relays are actually better sealed from the elements than original factory relays. (They will drain condensation) However do not install them with the wires up.
You will notice that I also rewired the HVAC Fan to ensure it gets appropriate electrical supply.
A Vacuum pump Relay and Breaker can be easily added.
Check out the entire album of pictures to see how.

One the top, it says Bosch 12077864 800 and on the side there are the numbers "0 332 208 150" with a "982" in an oval. There are no marking on the connectors.
I have to believe GM/Holden used them on many other vehicles from the late 80s into the 90s. I would start with cars and trucks that have their engine controllers inside the cabin. These forced them to use lots of weather proof relays under the hood.
