Thinking about ways to enhance the @home feel, I wonder what the average
size of the TV sets and/or video monitors are that people have installed
in there coach. Is a 15" screen adequate for two people?! Way too small?

Those are all very good options :)
My current thinking is to resurrect an older laptop with a 15.6" display
to give SWMBO some "moving picture sleeping pills" :D

I, unfortunately, do like my TV’s. I installed a 16” on a flip down mount behind the cockpit (hooked up to an in dash DVD player), and a 22” screen with built in DVD in the rear ‘bedroom.’ The TV’s look nice mounted, are appropriately sized and run on 12 volts. They are however, fairly ‘cheap’ Chinese models and have limited viewing angles. This actually makes it sort of hard to get a good picture when sitting in the narrow coach. Perhaps a more expensive quality screen would give a little better theater experience.

We have a 15" LED on a folding mount under the kitchen cabinet and a 22" LED in the rear bedroom area. As they are relatively new, they have adequate HDMI inputs, so they can also service as computer monitors.
We also have a USB TV stick tuner take will work with the laptops, both Mac and Windows.
I have seen a 42" fold down mount installation, from the front cap. Overkill.
Nice to see local weather, if there are local station available.
TV antenna is a toss up. I do have a satellite receiver system.
My friends are more interesting and important than any TV show. Just saying.

How did you know that :*)
Of course, the main reason for a moving picture display is SWMBO. I want
to make sure that she likes being in/ travel with the GMC.
> flat screens are getting cheap. I think a 15" is too small, and where do you buy one?
As previously outlined, I would use an older 15.6" laptop display.

I do not see mounting as a main problem, but I would prefer to stay with
12V.

I've got a 24" flat panel that runs on 12VDC (Insignia - a "no-name" brand) - so no AC or inverter required. I mount it on one of the interior walls for travel and use it's own built-in stand when being operated. We stand it on the rear centre night table or on the kitchen counter, as desired.
It has a DVD player built-in and I have an antenna booster (Wineguard) that feeds both locations. But more often than not - it's connected to a Raspberry Pi running XBMC for viewing "downloaded" or USB stick based content.
If we want to sit and enjoy the view out the back window - it just remains docked on the wall.

This is an interesting topic, I want to mount a 32-40" TV that hinges down from the ceiling but I cant wrap my head around how to secure it and make it sturdy?
I want to move my roof AC to the front most vent location and have the TV lower from the ceiling with the screen facing toward the front of the coach? I may mount a secondary roof AC in the rear bedroom as well.
The other option is to mount a pull down projector screen suspended just in front of the galley with the projector mounted near the windshield area?
Any one have photos of either of these or similar setups?
Thanks,
Steve

Just quick thought on projector. Gmc has lots of windows, You need a super bright projector or good window blinds if you want to use during daylight.
I have a mobile setup. Have not permantly mounted in coach yet. (Borrow projector from work)

Interesting thought that has crossed my mind as well, especially as the
only display we have at home is a projector ;)
And yes, getting it dark enough is really the main problem, even if we
would probably only use it during the evening hours anyway.
