Lots of good discussion in that thread but to keep from hijacking it further, I thought I'd start a new one.

Keep in mind that I've never weighted my coach and don't really know what I'm talking about... Embarassed Shocked

It seems to me, that if the rear end is BLOCKED to spec and THEN the front end adjusted it would be weight independent. The automatic level adjusters are going to take the rear back to spec IF THE AUTO LEVEL SYSTEM IS WORKING CORRECTLY. The auto level system doesn't care about weight. It is going to adjust air pressure until it's at the set height. Period.

The torsion bars do care about the weight but the adjustment/drive/measure process takes that into consideration.

Am I missing something?

Chuck, regarding your cracked windshields while the coach is sitting and the distorted openings. I find it difficult to imagine that much movement in the structure without paint cracking and big gaps opening up. I'd think the body mounts might be off or prior collision damage. These things are really STIFF. I've jacked mine several times and had the other side front wheel come off the ground almost as soon as the side I was jacking did. I normally jack where the subframe slips into the chassis rails.
