OK, time for a highly technical and important question.....

Has the GMC icon in the top left of the forum page changed?

What is the little character at front tire -- and is that tire now flat?

Dennis, BOY are you observant! Yep I'd say the tire is flat and the "little character" is fibreglass damage! Twisted Evil

If you'll look closely, you'll see there is no TMS sensor on the valve stem. Maybe that'd picked up a temp spike before the blowout.

I don't know where that picture came from, and I haven't said anything before now because someone is sure to be offended. But with all of the pictures that could be plagiarized out there, why does that awful looking thing adorn the forum?

Seriously, I think this forum loses a lot of credibility when a first time user stumbles on here and sees that. I expect a lot of people think it is a spoof site and move on without checking it out further.

Not everyone looks at the stats of a forum to determine if it is worth following.
When I visit a forum for the first time, I head straight to the discussions to see if they have sufficient content to warrant me coming back. I couldn't care less how many users, messages, or topics they have. They need to capture my interest. The details of an image on the main page also won't keep me from diving into a forum to check it out.

An argument could be made that anybody that is put off by the silly cartoon probably doesn't have the attention span for this forum anyway. Shrug.

No panties in wads. Just never understood why this cheesy thing is at the top of the page when there are so many other, more flattering, pictures available.
