I thought I read about one somewhere but I can't find it.

I know all the buzz is about a GM 6.5 diesel and that would be pretty awesome.

But the 12 valve, all mechanical Cummins 5.9 would be about perfect for the 8000 lb Revcon.

I searched here and google with no luck.

thanks

Manny did a 4BT (4cyl sibling of the 12v) conversion in his own coach. It required cutting away part of the engine block(lower skirt) to clear the FD. There are a few photos of the swap that I have seen but don't recall where I found them.

Dave,

I know of and have seen (in person) two 6.5 conversions, one by Bill Hubler and the other by Marc Hogenboom. I have also seen
Manny's 4 cylinder diesel.

I have never heard, seen or read anything about the Cummins 5.9 since I joined this merry band of misfits back in 2007.

Regards,
Rob M.
