This system is an e-mail listserver with a forum as a mirror. It is nice in that it serves both, but there is an issue that complicates things for many of us.
When you just add to a thread on the forum, even if you change the title, it will include it in that thread. In E-mail it will show up as a part of the same thread if you don't change the title. In forum, it will be a part of the same thread even if the title line is changed. If a reader is busy, this piece may get blown by and never seen. So, if you are working e-mail, send the new message to the group without using "reply" and in the forum use the new topic button and always use a new title.
