Ada (my wife)arrived in Quartzite this afternoon and will be again
assisting MAC THE FIREGUY in the big tent. I didn't go this year.
Am nursing a shoulder so stayed home. If any of you are going to be
there for the show stop by the booth and say HEY to her and make her
feel welcome. She isn't a butthead like me, she just married one. Shocked

We visited with "Mac the Fire Guy" at the FMCA rally in Indio last week. He was there in conjunction with Miller Insurance. We talked about Jim B and I got some reassurance that my older Halon fire system, for the engine compartment, would do the job.

Carl,

Yeah, it should. Just kill the engine by turning off the ignition switch
and make sure if you have an electric fuel pump that it stops. I've seen
a couple over the years that kept pumping fuel. I have an older Halon in
my engine compartment too.

Just an update from Ada: Two RVs in the Quarzite area have gone up in
flames since Thursday. The first was definitely the result of a
refrigerator, the other is still pending. ......and no, Ada & MAC
didn't have anything to do with them. At least that is their story and
their sticking to it. Razz

P.S.: Really do wish those two coaches had had the FIRE FIGHT systems on
board. Outcome would have been happier. No one wins when a coach burns.
