I almost posted this as a recommendation. After reading more closely, I'm
now posting it as a CAUTION: This is NOT the label maker you want to use
on your GMC. It does NOT use the laminated (TZ - type) labels which
withstand most
environmental hazards. So if you're tempted by the price, don't be.

my recommendation for a label maker for the price:

http://www.amazon.com/DYMO-Industrial-Labeling-Keyboard-1801611/dp/B005MR516Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1421440067&sr=8-1&keywords=rhino+4200

for good labels:
http://www.amazon.com/Label-Dymo-Rhino-White-X18/dp/B000ONTGCG/ref=pd_sim_op_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=02NDB6PNP4M9A63HVFTQ

for best labels:
http://www.amazon.com/RHINO-White-Permanent-Polyester-Cartridge/dp/B00NRH61EM/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1421440696&sr=8-5&keywords=rhino+perm anent+polyester

Just have to make sure you use that in above freezing temps. It does not like -10.

also like these:
http://www.amazon.com/Panduit-PSCB-3Y-Write-On-Vinyl-Marker/dp/B004YU6VAK/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1421440242&sr=8-15&keywords=cable+write+ on+labels

we also get some cable tags that have self laminating ability, and they are pretty cool, but not sure where to buy them other then our telecom distributor.
