Hey GMC Eastern States Members=>
The news letter got posted early in the month and you should have gotten an e-mail to tell you it could be downloaded at: http://www.gmceast.com/GMCES_News_1411.pdf
There is a lot there, but my biggest concern is that our faithful and hard working editor and webmaster wants to move on to different things, so both are immediate and pressing needs. Plus there is a lot of information about this years rallies and plans.
I have been less than diligent about reading the forum, partly because we elected to replace a kitchen floor. RVs and boats are not the sole venue of PO issues I can tell you. To put down the nice new Pergo, we first had to rip out four older floors. The last prior had been laid over a luan underlayment that was laid down with about a thousand (no joke here - 10**3) 1/4x1 staples that would remain when the luan was ripped up. They would also try to remain when the old tile and OSB under that was ripped up. That meant that the OSB had to get ripped up in patches of less than one square foot. That was not a good plan. So, we (Mary and I working together) pulled out or broke every - now protruding - staple before we ripped up any more of the OSB. The story could go on from there, but I an still tired and sore.
