I would like to start a new thread but don't have a clue.

Background, I'm Getting Back in Camp mode, and never have been in full road mode.
Purchased a storage coach once used as a construction sleepover while rebuilding their home after a So-Cal Fire in '03,. It had been sitting for 7 years.
ROUND 1 of the Refurbishing - 2012-13 ($4,000)
After Massive CARB rebuild, and just about every other component within 3 feet of it, Including the entire Battery and Ignition System. She ran great...that is, up until 2nd gear.
Then I discovered the value of this Wonderful GMC Network.
Before too Long, my New Manny's Tranny was riding to Southern California courtesy of The Howard Express (Thank you, Howard!) -while getting his 1-ton front end from Jim K (the Man! - Thank you Jim!
Finally in drivable condition (If you leave out Wastewater systems and Propane (stove, heater, etc)
Pulling down a few cabinets to rehang and now hopefully touch up the Interior paint.
Oh, yeah, the Rats -on top of the engine, then under the Bonnet -and through-out the ventilation system, cabin and coach - all the way to the rear bed.... 7 pounds of nests and , well... you know.
The Coach Project has been underway again recently. From storage mothballs to live-a-board. This is Round II. (no rats of course)
Wastewater System
I really need some help understanding the Tank end of the wastewater system. Gate valve under the Body/Chassis area is Bad.
Can I buy the typical generic RV gate-valve or is there something special about the GMC?
Where in the Users Manual is it discussed? On-line?
Any Tips?
Propane System
I haven't moved over to the idea of lighting up the Propane System/Tank (so to speak). Is there anything I should pay particular attention to
aside from smoking anything while working on it?
I'm looking for an adapter so I can just plug in to the system and set it outside the existing tank, on the ground. is that Lame? or should I put some energy into
using the completely empty tank (dummies -that's the ONE thing you don't do. it creates the possibility for moisture inside the tank. So I'm a bit worried that it needs to be resurfaced/sandblasted inside.
which is more than I am inclined to do right now.
Any TIps?

Tim,
Welcome to the group, family, cult, asylum....
First and most important:
NEVER post a clear phone number or @dress here. This is an open forum and there are many un-vetted readers and some are spambots that look for things that fit the phone number or e-mail @dress template. Just goof it up a little by spelling some numbers and the "at" and "dot" in the address and add some spaces that a human can deal with easily but will confound a spambot.
Next, there is a whole lot of expertise and experience here. The postings are free and can be searched effectively. That makes it easier for everybody if you ask one question per post and make the title clear. You will get a response from someone that knows a lot about what you are trying to do.
Also. it will be a help to all if you go to the forum control panel/account setting and build a sigfile file that has: your name (so we know who we are talking to), a short coach note (so helpers can effective answer questions) and a geographic location (so if someone is in striking range or the problem is climate based that can be accommodated). You actually have this at the end of your post, but if you use a sigfile, it will always be there and you don't have to remember to put it there.
Lastly but not least at all. You are now a GMC owner. That makes you a part of a community like very few others. It is a community of people that will always help each other. It is very much like that of the watermen that were my life for most of it. For that reason, I decided to welcome new owners much as a new owner or vessel would be welcomed there. So,
