Today I was walking by a movie studio in West Hollywood called “The Lot” I noticed a GMC behind the fence. How could I not go over and look! Upon closer inspection it is a look alike for the GMC used in Anchorman II. It’s painted the same, but has Alcoa wheels, a different air conditioner, and has awnings on it. All different from the GMC used in Anchorman II. They were obviously doing some filming. I went over and asked the security guard for more information, and all she told me was that Will Ferrell was on the lot and had been doing a lot of shooting for “Funny or Die” but had been seen around the motorhome.
I’ll dig around for more dirt from my contacts here in the industry to see if I can find out anything more.
A picture I took through the fence of the coach being filmed is on the website.
