I have a 1967 Mustang FB GT, 4 speed in the garage. If I could find the
correct engine, 289 stock 4Bbl, complete I'd have a fast Mustang!

WOW!
That was AWESOME! It must have cost a motsa to organize and film this video
considering the number of police cars involved. From the skid marks you can
see there were more than one take on quite a few of the scenes.
By the way for those of you not familiar with the word HOON:

But for GMC content: Mustangs do not make good towds. Best to put them on trailers.
I have not watched the video but Mike, why do you say Mustangs do not make good toads? I plan to tow my 65 FB 289 stick. I towed it 300 miles once with no issues. Just curious.

IIRC the manual transmissions used then are ok to pull four down. My concerns are mostly dealing with the strength of the structures in the nose of the Mustangs of that era. If you find or design & build a good base plate that reaches back to the stronger sections you shouldn't have much problem. You'll also need to keep an eye on the front alignment. I seem to remember that having problems with that.

Ok Mike, I hear ha. I actually used a uhaul bumper hitch on the front bumper. I checked my bumper braces good first. Worked great for the short tow. But, I would have something built more permanent when I get ready to "really tow" it.
