Saw a show that stated that this Cuda, sold for $2,000,000
It was one of 11 convertibles built in 1971 with the 426 hemi engine.
The most sought out Plymouth muscle car of that era.

.>really rare
I have a 1924 McFarlan "lightweight" (factory installed Wisconsin engine). ...probably the only one in existance. It has been my experience with this one that sometimes you can get TOO rare.

It seems to me I saw someplace that only about 5 of the hemicuda convertibles were still extant. Milton Robson cornered or nearly cornered the market on them at one point. I don't know if any were left when he auctioned off his collection several years ago. Anybody know the truth to these rumors?

Well, yeah. It also has to be something people are interested in and want. Never heard of that one. Will have to look it up.

Lots of luck. BTW, it's NOT the Twin-Valve Six model. McFarlans are relatively rare on the whole. I had to have North Carolina DMV set the brand up in the state's vehicle database in order to get a title.

update:
>mcfarlans are relatively rare
A recent book lists only 19 known McFarlans. With the help of a Facebook thread I happened across, we were able to ascertain that mine was {A} unknown, {B} one of two Single-valve Six's, and {C} the only Single-valve Six Touring Car.
More on McFarlans here, along with a pix of mine when I found it
