My wife has decreed we are going to FL again for family Thanksgiving, which I don't begrudge her since it might be the last time she gets to see her maternal grandparents. However, it left me with the distasteful combination of lubing the coach in preparation to leave in a couple weeks at the same time I had to winterize it in anticipation of expected freezing temperatures at night before we get to go. What an irritating combination!

Thanks,

I almost took you up on that last year and I appreciate it, but we will have a different route this year. Last year was an experiment best not repeated. I thought cutting across south Georgia to I75 would be at least as fast as going through south east Alabama to I10. I was wrong for a variety of reasons including rural 55mph roads with random stop signs (yep, got nailed for rolling through one of them less than 25 miles from your place!), cotton haulers, rush hour for the military in Columbus, and post Iron Bowl traffic coming from Auburn (not a problem this year obviously).

This year we'll stick to the more mundane route through Dothan both ways.

Thanks,

It's a funny thing Jim, once we leave here heading South about Troy AL I take a deep breath. At that point I'm a hike from my mechanic here and still a long way from you. When we get down around Gainesville I start to feel better as I know help is close by from you and then once I get down around the big lake Jeff is there. Funny how it makes me feel better just knowing I'm inside those bubbles!

On the upside, I keep the Blacklist with me and while I've only needed it once (thanks Chuck Boyd for helping me find a tire place!)this really is the best community of folks you can find.

Thanks,
