I am very happy to report that today my Sister and Brother in-law purchased
their very own GMC. It is a 1975 Avion, the very model that they had been
looking for. I won't divulge much more info about their new steed but Jim
will be checking in here soon to introduce himself and his project.

Yes he will be registering the GMC with John Shotwell at the Registry.

Yes he knows about Applied GMC and the GMC Coop.

Yes he is very mechanically inclined.

Thanks to all of you who provided leads, advice and coaches for sale.

No fair, you gotta let us know which one - once secured, of course... Very Happy

76 Birchaven - "Wicked Mistress" - New engine, trans, alum radiator, brakes, Sully airbags, fuel lines, seats, adult beverage center... those Coachmen guys were really thinking about us second hand owners by including that beverage center... Columbia, SC.

Haha Sorry Joe, all that I can say right now is that it's a 75 Avion in good
condition but needs a little interior work. I'll let him do a proper
description when he introduces himself here.

I can say this though; My Brother in-law was amazed a few weeks ago when I
posted my first "looking for a GMC" message and we received MANY responses.
Then I posted an "Avion Wanted" message a few days ago. Someone knew about
one, then called someone else, who called me, who called Jim (Bro in-law)
who said "let's go look." He bought it within an hour one day after hearing
about it. To say that he was impressed with the GMC List is an
understatement, but one of the reasons that he had decided on a GMC. I've
told him several times that this is just how we roll here!
