I ordered the one thru YUGster and it has arrived. Did all you are supposed to do and it does not work. The screen comes on with a line down the middle and a very fuzzy grayed out image. The menu button does not work, The SD Card does not record. Have contacted Yugster and awaiting reply, hopefully they can resolve this as there was no warranty card or way to contact the manufacturer. You pays your money and you takes your chances

With respect to the defective Yugster dash cam, I took a trip with mine and all seems good. It makes you look like Stirling Moss just driving carefully, upon replay. I do believe that the screen that comes with it, while perfectly adequate, does not display all the detail that might be available with HD when replaying on a laptop, but I haven't gotten to that point yet. I got a memory card for $9.95 with low shipping from Newegg.com. It is the Silicon Power 32 Gig card that touts the HD video replay capabilities but no mention of audio. It records audio for me just fine. YMMV.
If I have further trouble with it, I can always get a child to help me with the buttons. The controls aren't super intuitive but studying the instructions bears dividends. You could put it on your motorcycle helmet and use it on battery power and get by much cheaper than those waterproof jobs if you handle with care. Duct tape it to your sky diving helmet. Bungee jump with it. Wear it while watching TV. I'm considering using it as a critter watcher if those infrared lights are any good.
I am not affiliated with Yugster or Newegg, nor do I hold any position in their respective stocks, if they have any. I do not intend to tout this purchase except a cheap way to have some fun. If you drive and someone stops and squats in front of you, it may be priceless. You can always have it projected in the hospital room for amusement during rehab.
Please keep us posted on whether the retailer makes this right.

It's one of those cheap purchases that would be impossible to buy at any price in the 1960s. It's amazing to me. ....Later, editing....I put the SD card into the laptop, and it came up in Power DVD and gave a full screen video that is all right. On looking at it, the deficiencies of the camera system become apparent. It has some "color noise" on the replay. It isn't HD quality, or what I observed. I may be able to tweak the camera. But it's better than old style television by far. An interesting thing. Now in low light, I am getting streaks of color noise vertically on the built-in screen. Still loads of fun.

Same design Dash Camera popped up here at Wal-Mart for $39.95 in their Christmas assortment. At least, W-M actually will take back defective items.

Did the Walmart cam include the SD card? That would make Walmarts deal even better.
Both of my cameras work, but haven't gotten the second SD card yet. Right now one is a spare and I use the power cord from the second camera in another vehicle where I could tuck it behind the trim and just take the camera out to unload it to the computer.
