The first snow of the year is falling right now. There is only 1/2 inch on the ground so far. The temps are suppose to be in the 60's in a couple of days, but it is snowing right now on Halloween. Winter is still 7.5 weeks away.

The GMC is safely stored inside, the lines are blown out, and the foam fire extinguishers removed. I still need to go back and fill the lines with anti-freeze. I have been delaying doing that because I want to go to the Ft. Wayne hamfest in 2 weeks in the coach.

YES IT IS! When I arrived at The Waukegan Sports Park for work, it was barely dropping a few flakes of snow. It was about 38 degrees F, but the wind was not bad. Later in the day, the wind picked up and there was a good amount of snow coming down. We were sent out to check something and we had to hold on as the cart swayed and rocked in the wind. We were concerned that it may tip over, the snow was heavy and was flying past HORIZONTALLY. Some trash containers were being blown around and we tried to rescue some.
After noon and the snow lightened up, still windy. Wind chill was about 27 degrees....

Anyone know how we can box some of this cold up and ship it down to the COOP??? It's a bit too warm down there and I think we should share! lol Twisted Evil

Hmmm when will WINTER get here, lololol.

I got the hoses put away yesterday and the coach winterized yesterday and I am glad I did.
Today is 40° and the wind chime is playing a fugue. Not a good time to be doing things with water outside.

Naw Mike, Ken and I badger each other but if he lived closer he would have beaten wally from Omaha down here to help me winterize my coach. Wally was here last week. It froze last nite. That is calling it close. I have some of the best friends here on this net. No one lives close to me. Couple of guys in Memphis but they are not too active.
Life is good. If Ken wants to slap me, then I deserve it. He is one nice guy. His wife always wins the gmc races, dang it.

Ken is indeed a great guy and has done me favours....that still work !

Rain here today but I was able to get a couple of things done outside. I'll
know Nov. 18th if I'm heading south. If I am, I'll stop by and give you a
slap for Ken in case he can't make it before I get there

Keep calm and carry on !

Mike
