My Norcold works best on propane, I'd always used it there when I could. But, after I added a good CO detector to the coach in anticipation of a working furnace, I got an alarm at a show with no furnace installed and the stove off. So I had a look at the icebox - the cabinet wasn't sealed when the new unit was fitted in place of the original electric only, nor was the upper vent enlarged. It's a small vent on the side of the coach. A large door style vent was fitted to the lower portion of the icebox cabinet.
Well, now the cabinet is sealed with A/C tape, and the upper vent has a pair of 35CMF exhaust fans fitted, wired to the gas solenoid. When the burner comes on, so do the fans. Now, the CO detector is happy.
