I bought one of those fan/thermostat controlled trans coolers, and would ask where have you mounted one?
It is about 12"x14".

RD, I mounted mine (oil cooler) on the passenger side in front of the inner fender liner. It sits at about a 45 degree angle and is protected from road trash by some heavy wire mesh. There is room for another on the drivers side. The fan runs for a few minutes after I shut down.
