Hello,
So the 1977 23 Footer I bought came with a spare tire and wheel mounted in the rear. The tire is slashed/useless. It is size 8.75 R 16.5. It is the old size which I am told is not made anymore.
The other 6 tires and wheels are updated regular sizes. Lt225/75 R16
So where do I get an (8.75) tire that would fit the spare rim? I called all the local tire shops and no one has it. I will go to the Junk yard and try to find one.
My other option is to replace the rim and the tire to the current size...the 225 size.
Will a 225 tire fit on the old spare 8.75 rim that I have ?
If not, does anyone have a spare tire or a spare tire/rim they want to sell/get rid of ?
I am also looking for 2 extra batteries since the rig came with one only. The batteries can be dead, I will use them as a core or rebuild them.
I am in Yuba City, near sacramento. Will also be in the Bay area soon.
