Nicely done! Are you going to sleep lengthwise or crosswise? Because of the arms, I assume crosswise like in the back bed?

Structural plywood behind the scenes and Maple on the outside. I think there is some MDF in there as well. I'm not the one building it... It's being done by a company that builds high end conference rooms and office spaces. Almost all of this material here is leftovers from other jobs.

We can sleep in either direction. I am 6'5" but I have a small sleeping "footprint"... Most likely when we have the bed out in full position (meaning taking up the whole front of the coach), we would sleep across the coach. If we have it with a single on one side and a full on the other then we'd sleep front to back.

Jared, I love the look. We recently went through a similar but much less high end appearing effort to build twin beds in the front. I'm 6'1 and built our platforms so that the top of our mattresses is level with the floor of the cockpit. I can put my pillow all the way against the back of the passenger seat pedestal. That extra 3-4 inches means I can stretch out completely lengthwise. The wooden arms on your design would not let me stretch out. Butif it works for you go for it, it is a STUNNING design. It's as good a cabinetwork as I've seen in any GMC.
Please don't think I'm being critical. You asked for feedback.

Appreciate it Kerry. We're really excited to see it all finally come together. Once I get the upholstery done it will feel far more "done."
I like your idea too of leveling the bed with the cockpit floor.

Had a couple people interested in getting this done on their coaches. I'll be going back to this place this weekend to get a couple more things done and will bring up the potential of selling the parts to put this in yourself.
Would anyone be interested in this? I'm not sure how much they would sell it for. Can't imagine it would be too much. Now that the hard work is done (the design and CAD work) it would basically be parts and whatever they would want to make back for their time.
I would think they would be willing to make a couple of these if there is any interest.
Let me know if anyone else would consider something like this for their coaches.
Thanks.

Jared, Did you ever get your hands on the CAD files for your interior redo? It looks fantastic and I would love to something similar in my '77 Kingsley 26'. Either source my own wood work based on your CAD files or order the components from your craftsman. Let me know either way - Thanks!
