Hello,

One of the last nagging issues with my coach was a disconcerting rattle that came from the steering wheel. From the advice of Alex F. I was able to buy a new steering column bearing kit. I thought it would be pretty simple to swap out. But I can not get the sliding shaft attached to the cv joint to separate from the steering column. I believe the seal between the steering column splines and collar is broken but I can’t get the shaft to slide anymore. Any hints on getting this off? It is getting to be very frustrating.

Dan
