Netters:
How does it happen that I end up with a total of 4 separate conversations
on the following 2 subjects:
1)Thinking of dumping the propane tank and going all electric
and
2)New Crate motor for the TZE?
My computer or is someone screwing up the mail site?

Is it because some folks respond to the web, and others respond via email list?
76 Birchaven - "Wicked Mistress" - New engine, trans, alum radiator, brakes, Sully airbags, fuel lines, seats, adult beverage center... those Coachmen guys were really thinking about us second hand owners by including that beverage center...

No. It is because some folks' email clients mangle something about the header that makes the email listserver see it as a new thread, and does not link it to the rest of the thread.
Look at the profile for glwgmc and you will see that for quite some time, every one of his posts is the start of a new thread, even when he is replying to someone else.
I don't know if it is a setting or a "feature" of the program that can not be changed.
If you notice, Jerry's have always been like this. I do not read those messages. There are becoming more and more of them. I can't read everything so those I just skip, knowing I may be missing some good stuff. It the guys would just reply to the thread and not start a new one using same title it would not happen. I have been chastised for mentioning this before but I can see it is very confusing to new members.
We just dig around here the best we can. Today I found that I replied twice to a topic however it was by two different folks. If I had seen it I would have only replied to the one started first.
Life is great. I am just glad to be a part of it.

Dan I never would have thought it was procedural, like on purpose. In order to cause what we are talking about manually, one has to start a new email message, copy and paste the title, copy and paste the text to which one is replying, manually insert a newline or two, and start typing. All that instead of hitting the "Reply" button and begin typing. That's why I figured it was the email client. Why would anyone make that much more work for themselves?
