sorry if I mess this up, Im noob here but will try.

glovebox sticker is missing.

determinately a nine where all info indicates should be a one in the V.I.N.

does the registry site allow access to member V.I.N.s? Im not a member there but will check and see. surely there are others that have a similar V.I.N. number?

Is this some sort of hybrid where one coach has been put together from two damaged coaches?

What about the plate that is supposed to be on the right front side of the firewall?

Any VIN plate that is bent and held on with Philips head screws is a major red flag. It's either a rebuild as someone suggested or at some point someone "moved" a title from one coach to another, which is of course illegal.

The second link he gave is the one on the firewall. The first link shows the plates on the side of the body next to the left side of the door.

In spite of what some have said, that is a proper plate.
In 1973 they used that plate and it is different that the later years.
It is not a hybrid but just a 1973 early model.

The 9 is correct and it is not supposed to be another number.

Interesting, have never seen that plate before, DT had a regular plate (1973 build 581)
