Well, We are home and comfortable. I finally got a too long too hot shower.

This was our first time out any distance with the 225-16s on the front.

My antique registration requires that the vehicle be driven only for shows, to events and for repair.
It does not say I have to take the shortest route. So, we made a slight detour on the way to Chippewa Falls.
From South-East Michigan, we went by way of Bozeman MT (after four days in Yellowstone) and back through Montana and North Dakota. This took us through eleven states - only six of these were new to our states traveled list. Four times across the continental divide and to elevations over 9200 ft MSL. Also, into two other time zones.

We bought 475 gallons of fuel, some of that at 3.999 in Yellowstone. And traveled 4376 miles according to the GPS. That makes about the 9.2 I always tell people that ask. I greased the bogies four times and added two quarts of oil.

We did have a part failure that will require repair. The draw guide on my underwear drawer cracked the top edge off and will have to be repaired in place. (Yes, I know all about West Epoxy.)

And, we had great time at the GMCMI convention. Just as we always do.

Matt - at home in his own chair and finally at real broadband speeds
