1900 miles and the Lady ran flawlessly. Ken Henderson had tire problems on the way to the rally and ended up getting 6 new tires in Chippewa Falls. The Bill and Pat Hutchinson convoyed home with us. Ken had gotten some bad gas and was leading the convoy in case he stalled when I saw smoke from the Hutchinson's coach. Of course it was in a high traffic construction zone. Mid tire on the left had let go. Fortunately there was no blow out and we were able to get off the road between barrels and quickly changed the tire with semi's whizzing past. Another reason I would not want to drive at night. I would have HATED to be in that situation in the dark.
The rest of the trip was uneventful other that some wind and rain the first day. Really windy on the second day, and today was beautiful.
Been unloading the coach and toad for the past two hours. Where the heck did all that crap come from?
