A bargain at twice the price. A rear door instead of the big picture window.

The added drivers side suicide door looks scary. Hope the latch works good.

Price needs to be verified, but makes a good working transmode. Might
be interesting for someone looking to start with. Like the three access
doors.

That coach would be a perfect candidate for an Australian buyer as it has all the doors necessary for any State approval for registration. Should be advertised in Australia the only draw back would be the A$12000+ delivery cost.

A couple odd things. Some photos show it all painted white. Others show the nose as grey primer. Some photos show the inside as gutted. Others show it with cabinets and such. Some images show hubcaps, other show what appear to be alloys. All in all it looks a bit suspicious.

Trevor,

Looks like you're making good progress!

For those of you wondering who Neville is and what his door looked like I offer the following:

http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/g6543-rear-door-gmc.html

Neville lives in Australia where we drive on the right side of the road and the OEM GMC door opens out into traffic. To get a GMC
registered you have to provide a door that does not do that. Most often owners will move the door across to the other side. Neville
decided to put one down the back. As you can see from the photos it looks like it came with that door. Neville is a cabinet maker by
trade which explains the way it looks!

BTW somehow the guy that built The Blue Streak got it registered in New South Wales (my state) WITHOUT moving the door. He didn't
tell me how he did that but he told never to let the registration run out as I'd have to have it inspected by the NSW Roads and
Traffic Administration.

Regards,
Rob M.

David & Wendy Smith down in Tasmania have also fitted a rear door to comply with their State laws for registration and kept the coach LHD.
Neville told me he does not use his rear door and it was purely for compliance his coach has also remained LHD. Neville is currently in Canada.
Trevor nice work on your door looking good.

There were quite a few of those. I thimk Jim B has one and the Phoenix post office sold one a few years ago after assigning it to Quartzite.

$15 is quite a bit less than $5k. That's why I was wondering if it was for real.

Inside the the ad it is asking $15000 or best offer.

"The price is $15,000 obo, and may consider trades, classic cars, muscle
cars, interesting cars."

I guess I should have read more than just the headline.
