Sounds like you have ruled out most of the obvious things. Since yours seems to be a unique situation (most 1 ton conversions run straight and true when properly aligned) the only other thing I could suggest would be to make sure the rear upper A arm bushings were installed correctly. the hole in the bushing has to be towards the ball joint end of the A arm. that will allow the rear part of the A arm to be pushed as far as possible towards the frame. At that point most coaches can get 3 or more degrees of caster with zero camber. Your report of 0.5 degrees of caster suggests either that these bushings were somehow installed backward (hole away from the ball joint end of the A arm) or that your mounting ears are in the wrong place or the caster was calculated incorrectly. The multiplier is different if measured at 15 degrees of rotation vs 20 degrees. Manny and the three Jims have more experience with the 1 ton installs than anyone else so perhaps they can think of some
thing else.

Strange that your guys did not find fan contact with the shroud in reverse under load as you found when you were at JimH's. That sort of thing does not come and go and sure sounds like motor mounts, either front or rear.

Still have the same slide to the drivers side as a function of engine torque after a shop visit with tire rotation, alignment, steering component
inspection, and check for engine movement with brake on accelerator on. No problems indicated to my guys at the shop, except that front tire wear
seems excessive. Again, this behavior became noticeable after getting the coach aligned for the 1st time at the proper front ride height (after 2 yrs
with the 1 ton conversion) with new torsion bars.

Alignment still got no more than 0.5 caster without compromising camber, and again, this coach tracks straight and steers great, except for the
slide-left with torque. I know not much, but have a hard time understanding why this would be an alignment issue.

Any suggestions on where to go from here that has not already been said?

Remember, I got fan contact with the shroud in reverse under load at Jim Hupy's, this after the front mount was replaced. The shroud has about 1/2
inch clearance at the nearest point and needs to be centered, but does that indicate excessive engine movement? Rear mounts suspect since I replaced
the front in May? Rear mounts look like no fun at all to replace, and I understand one of them is no longer made. Time for a shout out to Dr. Hubler
locally and Jim K?
