Before you make a selection, be sure to call FMCA to learn about their Michelin tire program. They do carry tires in the size needed for our coaches and the prices on that program are very competitive with any price I have seen.

Now that my SEVERAL years long ordeal with the GMC and it's hesitation and power loss is being worked on, I feel positive that we have finally got
this one over with. This brings me to the next hurdle, the Tires.
The Current set were bought over 6 years ago and though they have been great, that time limit for use has passed and I can see those micro cracks
in the side wall. I have been assured that this has no bearing on the tires usability but I don't want to tear up the GMC's sidewalls with a tire
self destructing.

I have been looking around for different types of tires and found a tire at TIRE RACK. Ok, I am NOT associated nor do I work for TIRE RACK but I am a
customer.

Stan, quite a few folks have had 4 to 6 year old tires that had lots of
tread left, and with good looking sidewalls, fail with a separated tread.
Chunks of tread flew off and inflicted a lot of damage to the
fiberglass. If you drive the coach regularly, the tires last longer.
The flexing of the tires keeps the tires from drying out and failing.
Another case of "use it, or lose it"?

Mine began separating at about 5 1/2 years. Fortunately, I only lost
little chunks off one tire to start with. I put on the spare and drove it
some more. I bought a new spare and didn't think about it again until the
next trip, when I noticed a rough ride. I checked the tires and found 2
more tires with bulges in the tread.

Woops (or Whoops, or just Oops, depending on your dictionary), six new
tires required a thousand miles from home, and my own tire dealer.
