Yep, it was a rally not to be missed, but many of you did. We had a 5 man, no host, no topic, no work, no dues, no rally, rally on the Florida Panhandle yesterday. There was not a coach cranked or driven, there were no "know-it-alls", and about as close as we got to actual participation in anything was listening to a Morgan 3 wheeler replica being fired up.

John Richardson, John Nicholls, Fred Veenschoten, Tom Phipps and I got together for a guys day out.

We inspected a coach for sale, solved the elusive problem with GMC dash air, went to tool warehouses, ate plenty of good food, spread around a whole pile of BS and used a tank of John Richardson's gas.

My only regret is that I didn't take Fred up on the offer to ride in the 3 wheeler. My fear was that, although I knew I could get in it OK, I wasn't sure I could get out.

The consensus on the coach in question was that it was over priced.

I had a great time.

The GMC Great Lakers MHC call this type of rally, a “Do Nothing Rally”. We have very little structure and everyone is responsible for their own camping reservation and extras. We don’t have them often, but we did have one last month as a last minute replacement for the air show rally. Had 15 coaches at a state park on the St Mary's River just above Lake St Clair and watched the big boats go by and enjoyed the park.
