OK, sometimes a simple fix, ends up being a bit more complicated.
I decided the rubber hose that goes from a fitting on the floor of my propane tank compartment, up to the regulator, should be replaced. it shows signs of age.
so I took the hose off, brought it to my local gas service company... first guy told me to go try RV place... so I went over there, and they sent me back.
they tried special ordering it, and are now telling me their hose guys (they tried two) who make hoses up, cannot replicate that hose. Particular problem seems to be the female flare fitting that goes to the fitting that is mounted to the floor of the compartment, I believe they are telling me, it is a 5/8" female flare. and they cannot get to a 1/2 NPT that would go to the regulator.
I have a 75 palm beach. and my propane compartment hose is the same as what is in this picture:

are they missing something here?
