I looked at these at FMCA but thought them over priced and over kill for our coaches. They "install" them by glueing magnets to the inside of the windshield using the same glues that hold rear view mirrors to the inside of windshields. On the windshields of a big diesel pusher the magnets are far enough up and down that they are well out of line of site. Not so sure they would be on a GMC. The big selling point is they offer a stick with a magnet on it to allow you to install these from the ground on the diesel pusher without having to get out the folding ladder. We are close enough to the ground that you don't usually need a ladder anyway, just step up onto the bumper. In a past life when we lived in the rolling condo it was a pain to up up the outside sun screens so I only did that when we were going to be parked for a week or more. We seldom did that as our objective was to see the country that I had only flown over before so we kept on the move for four years. We
did park for weeks at a time in central MX so did use the screens then. I guess something like this might have had value, but time to install was never an issue the way we lived in the rolling condo. It is not like we had tens of things competing for our time then. We do now, so the GMC fits our lifestyle just fine and I like the simplicity of the suction cups with the snaps on the end. Never had an issue with them coming off as some have reported here.

Tom or Keith,

What do you stick the magnets to??
Neither the east or west poles of my brass magnet will stick to my coach.
