As of now, the first vent is pretty much finished and I'm working on the second.
Just for clarification; the vent in the main cabin went kaput, but for the sake of uniformity I'm changing both.
Anyway, I now have two vent fans + the domes that covered them on offer. Nothing more than the cost of shipping.
The front one has a broken corner on the cover, which is probably why the domes were added.
There are some pictures at my album
http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/g5705-mitch-s-beast.html
I have edited this link - removing a POS and (hopefully) giving the right one.
If someone wants either or both vents/domes they'll only cost shipping.
The one part I am keeping is the electrical connector.
Anyway PM me if you want.

I clicked on your link and it took me to my own album, not yours.

There are days I really don't like computers.
I just checked and photos I THOUGHT I had up loaded - nope.
Well, I have nothing else to do and the Mariners are down 12-3 to the lowly Texas Rangers, so I'll play with the pics again.

I knew that was going to come up
At least for a while.
Our circumstance haven't changed, but it's hard to sell a rig when things are crapping out.
While I still have it I might as well do a few more things, after all, the Spitfire is pretty complete, I don't have another project car (notice I didn't say I don't have other projects), and it does hurt my pride that The Beast is sitting idle while needing things done. Hell, next year I may start the bidding at $20 K!sgltrac wrote on Wed, 27 August 2014 14:55Does this mean you are keeping the coach?

I think I you want to have an easier time selling it might be a good idea to figure out the least expensive sanitary method to make that mural disappear.
It looks like a painted mural. Is it?

It is painted, and I have thought about removing it. On the other hand - it is unique, and it goes with the interior and the coach's background story.

If it is hand painted on it can likely be removed with solvent. If the color is stable an uniform with the surrounding panel underneath but a trace or bump exists as a ghost of the artwork, that can be sanded and rubbed back. If there is a color change or fade surrounding the graphic then there is plastidip!!
Not trying to criticize just sayin. I think most buyers prefer a blank slate or safe time resistant oem styling. Uniqueness can narrow the prospect group.

Todd,
> If it is hand painted on it can likely be removed with solvent.
As I was one of the interested parties for the coach, I can say that the
current paint is everything but a drawback. It ain't perfect, but as
Mitch said, it makes the coach unique, imho in a good way.

I believe that if you go into a gmc purchase under the assumption that you will have no problems you are delusional. The best running motor can self destruct the next day and a properly functioning transmission can go on the fritz without notice. A water heater can just stop working as well as the fridge. If the exterior of the coach is in good condition ( paint, body, windows and trim)
And you are happy with the scheme that can drastically reduce the potential for future $ outlay in a coach as exteriors never fail overnight.

That is an insurable risk which can happen driving any motor vehicle. Not likely you will go outside one day to your coach and your windows will be falling apart and the paint peeling off.....

Cool. Sold a Sullybilt kit to a local guy who has a parts coach n plans to make a trailer out of it. He has the front end parts I need in exchange for my assist in pulling the front power module clip.
The search for a short pusher continues.
