One other thing to consider. According to the current issue of National Geographic Traveler magazine, by 2050 70% of the worlds population will live in urban areas. That means a great demand for ways to get out of those mad-house urban areas to decompress on weekends and vacation time. How better to do that than in a GMC? Is 2050 a long way off? Not really, that is only 36 years from now, less time than the GMCs have already been on the road. Now, for some of us another 36 years is not likely, but for those now younger than 60 it is quite likely. This global mad rush to the urban areas is also why some of us choose to live in small town America or rural Canada. grin

on my way back home two weekends ago, I stopped at a gas station to add some rain ex to my windows.

there was two Chevy suburbans, one of witch was pulling an enclosed trailer with boy scout troop number on it, and there was a few kids around in
their boy scout shirts. there was a subway attached to the gas station, and they were all grabbing sandwiches.

with a GMC, they could of just driven the GMC, pulled the trailer. left the second suburban home. and not needed to stop at subway.

I have been having more fun with my GMC, just using it on short trips and local. Have done two car shows, I bring the kids, get front row parking.
Do not have to use the porta-potties, and have a fridge full of food, and drinks that do not cost an arm or leg. Both were right in town.

I am not even 40 yet. but I figure if I keep using and fixing my GMC slightly faster then it falls apart, when and If i ever retire 20+ years from
now, It should be pretty mint.
