I have a 1977 Birchaven that was "upgraded" in the late 80's from what I can tell. They covered the birch wood work with a blue vinyl and put on blue Formica cabinet doors. I think I can strip and refinish the cabinets, but I dread the thought of building all of those raised panel doors. Anyone have a set looking for a new home? Could do cash or trade. I still have a few things left from a 1976 Eleganza II that I parted out. Please let me know. Thanks.

Do you have an example of what yours looked like?

Don't know for sure, but I suspect they looked like the ones in the Birch that Bess has for sale in this forum. Color does not matter as long as they are the solid birch frames with a raised center panel. I will strip and refinish them.

What are the rough dimensions? I have four square solid wood doors (don't know what they came from other than I got them from a local former GMC owner). One is slightly smaller than the other three. Please text me at 858-tree for nein-6472

Those are nice, but they appear to be Oak. I need to find some Birch doors/drawer fronts to match the rest of the cabinets. Thank you for the effort though!

They are Oak, Dave's parts coach is a 78 Palm Beach. Has the same cabinets and interior layout as my 77 Eleganza..... my cabinets are also Oak.
Jared
If it were me, I would find a cabinet maker that could manufacture your original doors. Or...... pull off the Formica and see if the Birch door is still under there.

Thanks Jared. I can build 'em if I need to (someday). Redid the entire interior on my '78 Royale. Just tired of working instead of camping and didn't want to fork over a bunch of cash to have someone else build new. My search continues....
