No test drive yet, Armand. The RV garage only holds one GMC. Right now the Clasco is in the garage and the Royale is sitting in front of it so I have to move that one before I can get the Clasco out. I don't remember the brand from my brother, but most of the ones that are just a layer of sticky rubber like material and a layer of foil tend to show similar noise attenuation. When the Clasco was built they lined the gen compartment with a foil backed foam material that disintegrated with age leaving a dusty mess all over the place. It took a while to dig all that mess out and clean up the generator. Odd that they only put a layer of that stuff on the top of the hatch cover and not on the floor around the hatch. It, too, had disintegrated but was easier to clean up. I elected to use the sheet material without the foam to avoid the disintegration problem in the future. I will let you know the sound difference when I do get a chance to drive the Clasco, but I expect it t
o be substantial.

Was your brother's sheet material Dynamat or Fatmat or something else? You didn't say whether you took the coach for a ride to test it. How much
difference did it make?
