I Filled Up And Topped Off The Gas Tanks
Yesterday Before We Left The Campgrounds. `
I Filled Up And Topped Off The Gas Tanks
Again At Our First Stop.
According To My Careful Calculations
~> I Got '24.7 MPG ' ! ! ! ~

The Long 10 Mile Trip To The 1st Stop
Was 95% Downhill
And
The Eleganza II 26 Footer Was In NEUTRAL
~> 75% Of That Time <~ Laughing

FWIW, you'll get best mileage by running EFI leaving it in gear going downhill. Most EFIs (oem at least) cut off fuel above a certain rpm during decel (1500, depends). Letting it idle uses fuel.

Great report. I have thought I could get better mileage if I always went down hill. I am thinking about raising the air bags and putting smaller wheels in front, so I am always going down hill. *smile*
