F'n New Guy here just aquired 1977 Kingsley been sitting for years lots of work done to her already shes running and stopping per a week of non stop brake and engine work. Now on to all the other lovely things to do . Tracked down charging issue per info from this site BTW great info on here. Found the starting battery not charging turned out to be bad leg on Isolator. Picked one up locally but its a 4 pole terminals marked #1,A,E,#2. Hooked up batteries to 1&2 and obviously "A" to Alternator. The post marked "E" instructions says if alternator is newer then 1985 goes to ignition wire to " Excite the alternator. I Left that one out of the loop assuming i have OG Pre 85 Alternator. Everything is charging nicely and working. My question is is this Isolator ok to use and not use the "E" terminal. Thanks for the help. The Isolator is similar to this one http://www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Sure-Power/12023A-D.html
