We took the Royale out for a weekend camping trip. It was a nice weekend at Red Rock Lake in the Roberts Creek West campgrounds and all went pretty well. A couple of issues that surfaced or resurfaced though that I need to ask for guidance on please.

1) Resurfaced issue: There is a "clunk" that occurs when going down the road at highway speeds when the drive train is under load going up a hill. It had done this a few times last year, but I had chalked it up to a tired front end. If I get out of the gas a little bit it goes away. The harder I push it, the more it clunks. It only seems to happen in third gear under load. I have replaced the front end with a Manny one ton system and also freshened up the final drive, so I'm pretty sure it's in the transmission. The coach has 103K miles on it, but the tranny was redone at 97K miles in the late nineties.

2) New Issue: Had the rig plugged in to shore power all weekend long. Went to leave today and the batteries were dead. Switched to Boost and still nothing. They are one year old Interstate batteries. I have three of them. Two in the engine compartment and one by the Onan. Had to jump it and all was well. Not sure why the twelve volt system would not have been charging the whole time we were plugged in?

Thanks in advance for your insights!
