I installed one on my GMC when I rewired it and
added a 2000 watt Zantrex inverter. It works great
and a fairly straight forward job. All motor homes
are single phase. It auto switch's to generator when
ever the Gen. is turned on. I have gone all electric
and installed 2 new 50 amp service boxes, one for
shore power and one for generator.,the 2 feeds go
to the transfer switch. I believe any brand switch will
work. I've had one in the other 5 coaches I've owned
and only had to replace one.
You will never go outside in the rain to switch again.
