Sharon wanted to take the Royale to the FMCA national convention in Redmond, OR, this week because it has a much bigger bed than the one in the Clasco. When it is hot she wants to be as far away from me as she can get at bed time! The Royale has been sitting since March when we returned from Mexico. We drove to bend, OR, yesterday and will go on to Redmond this morning at our allotted entry time.

It was really hot yesterday and we did a 5000 foot mean climb from where we are in southern Oregon to bend. We experienced our first hint of vapor lock since we began adding the Archoil ethanol conditioner. A couple of times when we slowed for traffic or for going through a town we felt a bit of a stutter. A quick flip of the electric pump switch and the stutter went away. The fuel tank was about three fourths full when we left and I can only surmise that the ethanol sludge Emory has been talking about might have been part of this issue. We will fill up today and see if there is any more of this behavior, but the ethanol conditioner may not be the complete panacea I thought it might be. Still way better with these conditioners than without, but yesterday proved they are not a complete solution.

Yep, hope the rest of the trip goes well. Did you get the electricity with
your registration (for the AC)? Love those FMCA rallys (and all of the free
stuff). We're in Brookings, Or where it's cool so we could get away from
the 106 degree heat at home. Just meandering up the Oregon coast.,
Currently at the Humbug Mountain State Park. Beautiful here.

Jerry,

Maybe try some non ethanol gas? Is there a marina anywhere around?
or do you have the list of non ethanol gas stations with you?
