Hi Sully,

Look for a mid 90s non slide Beaver Patriot. Go around to the large RV parks and assisted care facilities and post a wanted ad. These diesel pushers were very well designed and made yet can often be found with less than 50 k miles for $20,000 or so. The 33 footers are especially nice for what you have in mind. You can tow a lot and they will get the same 8 to 10 as our coaches. Lots of room for living and storing stuff and a great gen set and engine mounted air compressor come along for the ride. Look for newish tires and batteries. The mechanicals are seldom an issue. They used standard service truck Cat engines and Allison transmissions so any required service is just a truck stop away. Stay away from the 32 foot Beaver Monterey as they did not drive nearly as well.

I have seen mention on here several times of a link where you could search craigslist nationally for GMC motorhomes. Does such a link exist if one
were to be searching for say a diesel pusher to buy and actually use while working on the GMC? I just confirmed the suspected bad news about my new
engine tonight and will need to remove and build another motor as well as complete the "planned" upgrades to the coach. Well after four years ,
countless hours and dollars invested into The Pig I am now officially out of time to complete this project in time for its intended use and I need to
find a functional trustworthy finished coach to take my son and I up and down the west coast for off road motorcycle racing. I am not giving up on The
Pig but my current work situation leaves me little if any free time to Segway into endless GMC related projects and the small window I have for racing
with my son is closing quickly. I would like to find a smaller pusher that I can tow our race trailer(6000lb loaded) with and be able to eat several
thousands of highway miles with and not open the toolbox. Any links or contact about known coaches that might fit the bill gladly accepted.

Thanks as always,
--
Sully
